Turkey intends to invest in the Kazakh sector of renewable energy and telecommunications

KAZAKH INVEST organized a visit of a large Turkish company "ŞINLAK HOLDING" to discuss the prospects for the implementation of several advanced investment projects in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting between the Chairman of the Board of "ŞINLAK HOLDING" Serdar Şhinlak and the Chairman of the Board of KAZAKH INVEST Meirzhan Yussupov, the investor was provided information about the investment climate, financial instruments, key advantages of project implementation and measures of state support for investments in Kazakhstan.


In turn, the Chairman of the Board of "ŞINLAK HOLDING" Serdar Şinlak announced his intention to implement a number of investment projects in various directions.

As part of the first direction, "ŞINLAK HOLDING" is considering the possibility of building a solar power plant with a capacity of 100 MW, with a further expansion to 1000 MW.

At the same time, the Turkish holding specializes in the application of its own innovative solutions in the field of GSM telecommunications (MNO / MVNO). "ŞINLAK HOLDING" is a partner of the British company LYCA Mobile as the main network operators in five countries. Investors intend to establish cooperation with Kazakh TV operators and assist in the development of this industry.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further close cooperation in the implementation of investment projects.

It is worth noting that during the visit, the company also plans to hold a number of meetings with authorized government agencies, representatives of the quasi-public sector and local partners.
