The 18th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Chinese Commission on cooperation in the field of industrialization and investment
The 18th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Chinese Commission on cooperation in the field of industrialization and investment was held, June 10 this year, under the co-chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. A. Aidarov and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Reform and Development of China Mr. N. Jizhe.
During the meeting was discussed the implementation of investment projects, as well as their views were exchanged to assist its successful implementation and resolution of emerging issues.
Measures taken against the pandemic of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 were also reviewed. The Chinese side noted that the government is following closely the situation of the distribution of COVID-19.
Mutual gratitude was expressed between the parties for humanitarian assistance in the fight against the global pandemic. The collaboration efficiency which allowed to reduce the incidence rate on the territory between the Governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and China was noted as well. The Chinese side also confirmed the readiness to provide additional assistance.
Considering the new challenges and threats of the global pandemic, the parties expressed a common interest in developing new areas of cooperation, such as the digital economy and medicine.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. A. Aidarov, Chairman of the Management Board of "KAZAKH INVEST" National Company" JSC Mr. B. Sartbaev as well as representatives of Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Department of Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and "KAZAKH INVEST" National Company" JSC.
