Energy Sector Exhibition — Powerexpo Almaty 2025 and Kazatomexpo 2025
KAZAKH INVEST invites you to take part in the key energy sector exhibitions — Powerexpo Almaty 2025 and Kazatomexpo 2025, which will be held on October 21–23 in Almaty.
From October 21 to 23, 2025, two major industry events will take place at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty:
- The 23rd Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Energy, Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering Machinery” — Powerexpo Almaty 2025;
- The 8th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Nuclear Power and Industry” — Kazatomexpo 2025.
The events traditionally bring together leading equipment manufacturers, technology providers, representatives of government bodies and the expert community, creating a platform for presenting innovative solutions and discussing the strategic objectives of energy sector development.
In 2025, more than 190 companies from 14 countries have confirmed their participation, including Austria, Algeria, Belarus, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and the Czech Republic.
The business program will cover the key areas of the sector:
- On October 21, the Energy Forum will open with a plenary session on the modernization of Kazakhstan’s power industry. The focus of the discussion will be equipment depreciation, capacity shortages, tariff policy, and the investment climate. Strategic panels will follow, addressing tariff reform and the prospects of a global energy network.
- On October 22, the focus will shift to nuclear energy: construction of nuclear power plants, international cooperation, and technology safety. On the same day, a discussion will be held on the resilience of energy systems, while the Expert Talks format will allow experts to summarize the outcomes of the discussions.
- On October 23, the KazEnergoOTP-2025 Forum is scheduled, dedicated to production localization, support for domestic manufacturers, export potential, and the creation of joint ventures.
