Investment opportunities of Kazakhstan presented in Shanghai
"KAZAKH INVEST" presented the investment potential of Kazakhstan and measures of investment support within the framework of the economic forum "The First Shanghe Business Connect Forum" in Shanghai, held with the participation of representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries.
The event is dedicated to the prospects for the development of regional trade and economic cooperation, as well as the development of electronic commerce and the "fintech" industry in the SCO countries and countries along the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.
The meeting was attended by about 50 Chinese companies, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan and other countries. During the event, the SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov and the World Alliance of Free Trade Zones General Secretary Yang Yongxin delivered a welcoming address.
The General Representative of KAZAKH INVEST in China Kuanysh Amantai presented to the Forum participants and Chinese companies information regarding the investment climate of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the potential for investment cooperation with Kazakhstani companies.
Also, during the event, KAZAKH INVEST held a number of meetings with representatives of Chinese companies, during which the parties discussed the possibilities of establishing investment cooperation in such sectors as agriculture, food industry, new technologies, e-commerce and medicine.
Following the presentation of "KAZAKH INVEST", it is planned to further elaboration the possibility of investment cooperation with a number of regions and enterprises of East China.
The forum is organized by the Shanghe Business Connect business club in cooperation with the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Secretariat.
