KAZAKH INVEST Discusses New Areas of Investment Cooperation with Greece
A meeting with Mr.Konstantinos Moraitidis, First Vice President of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Hellenic Republic and President of MorelSteel was held at KAZAKH INVEST. The talks took place during his visit to Kazakhstan organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Greece.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and prospects of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Greece, and also discussed opportunities to expand direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
Ms. Asel Suankulova, Director of the Investment Promotion and Marketing Department of KAZAKH INVEST, noted the company’s interest in further strengthening partnership with Greek businesses and emphasized its readiness to provide comprehensive support to investment initiatives of foreign partners.
Mr. Konstantinos Moraitidis highly praised the potential of the Kazakh market and outlined promising areas of cooperation, including industry, transport and logistics, green technologies, the agro-industrial sector and education. Particular attention was also paid to opportunities for localizing the production of Greek products in Kazakhstan and establishing joint ventures.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue a substantive dialogue and to facilitate business contacts and specialized events aimed at strengthening economic partnership.
The Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of the largest business associations in Greece, bringing together more than 20,000 companies representing a wide range of sectors of the national economy.
