KAZAKH INVEST Took Part in the Ceremony of the Establishment of the Chinese-Eurasian Investment Promotion Alliance in China
The investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan in priority sectors of the economy was presented at the China-Eurasia Investment Forum. The forum, organized by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, was attended by about 50 representatives of business circles and trade and economic organizations. Also on the sidelines of the event was held the ceremony of establishing the China-Eurasian Alliance for Promoting Investment Cooperation was held.
Therefore, during the forum, Zhanat Baitenov, a representative of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC in China made a presentation on the business climate of Kazakhstan, as well as on measures of state support for investment projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his speech, he spoke about the current state of Kazakh-Chinese investment cooperation, and also shared his vision regarding the mutually beneficial use of the Chinese-Eurasian Alliance platform in order to attract investment and develop international trade.
At the same time, on the sidelines of the event, the Kazakh side held a number of substantive negotiations on potential projects with the heads of large business communities of the regions of Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shengxi, Jiangsu, etc.
During the meetings with Chinese investors, there was a high interest note in establishing bilateral cooperation, including such large companies as CITIC Construction, Great Wall Motor, etc. Following the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to discuss further cooperation at the first meeting of the Expert Committee of the Alliance and Secretariat, which will be held in October this year.
