Emirati Businesses Interested in Implementing Investment Projects in Kazakhstan

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UAE and the foreign representative of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" in the Arab states, Kurmangali Amankosov, held several negotiations with UAE companies in Abu Dhabi. The representative of the national company informed investors about the country's investment attractiveness, the activities of KAZAKH INVEST, and measures of state support, inviting the Arab side to further cooperation.

During the meeting with Emirates Global Aluminum's management, the possibility of cooperating in the production of aluminum and processing of bauxite residues was considered. In 2021, Emirates Global Aluminum became the world's largest premium aluminum producer, with more than 330 individual primary aluminum products.

Also, a meeting was held with Abdulraouf Alhousani, the head of the department of  UAE's leading business group, Alserkal Group. The Arab side expressed interest in implementing a pilot project for processing fat and oil waste and purifying used water to produce wax, soap, and other elements. Alserkal Group plays a vital role in recycling waste grease traps resulting from the activities of the food industry and catering outlets throughout Dubai. The Group owns the only edible oil processing plant in the Middle East.

During the meeting with Khaled Al Kindi, the Director General of Emirates Global Education Group, issues related to the implementation of the SABIS International School construction project in Astana within the framework of the agreement signed in November 2023 were discussed. It is planned that the school will begin its work in 2024-25.
