Domestic Producer Embarks on Poultry Farm Construction Project in Almaty Region

At the site of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST," a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Management Board of the national company, Yerzhan Yelekeyev, and the Vice President of JSC "Aitas KZ," Rabiga Tokseitova. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the plans of the Kazakh company to implement the project "Almaty Poultry Farm Zhetysu." The project will cost over $600 million and have a capacity of 240,000 tons of poultry meat, including 100,000 tons of sausages and delicacies. The project will be implemented in the Almaty region from 2025 to 2029, creating 6,000 jobs.

During the meeting, Rabiga Tokseitova presented the project, noting that after its implementation, the enterprise will become the largest among the CIS countries. The raw materials will be purchased from Kazakh producers, and the finished products will be supplied to local and foreign markets. The Vice President asked for assistance in expediting the signing of an investment agreement with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasizing that the success of the project will be possible thanks to fruitful cooperation between business and the state.

In turn, Yerzhan Yelekeyev noted that the time for government bodies to review projects for signing an investment agreement has been reduced to 2.5 months. The Chairman of the Management Board stated that KAZAKH INVEST is ready to provide comprehensive support for the project’s implementation, assuring that the company’s specialists will actively interact with government authorities to speed up all necessary procedures.

According to him, the implementation of the project will not only strengthen Kazakhstan’s position in the meat product market but also create a significant number of jobs in the Almaty region. The national company highly values the potential of the project and sees it as an important contribution to the economic development of the region.

The parties agreed on further close cooperation and identified the main steps for the project's implementation.
