Management Board - Madiyar Sultanbek

Madiyar Sultanbek was born in 1983 in the Zhambyl region. He is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in physics, as a physics teacher, and as a reference translator (2005). He obtained a professional diploma in management (DipMgmt) from The Open University Business School in the United Kingdom (2008). He earned an MBA degree from the International Management Institute "LINK" in Moscow (2014) and a Master of Science degree from the Academy of Logistics and Transport (2021). He is a graduate of the PhD doctoral program at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (2024).

M. Sultanbek began his career in October 2007 as the Commercial Director of the branch of "KaR-Tel" LLP (Beeline, Beeline Business).

In 2013-2014, he worked as the Director of the Department of Strategic Development and International Cooperation at RSE "Kazhydromet". From 2014 to 2016, he was involved in consulting and teaching activities focused on sales and operational efficiency in industries such as paper manufacturing, fish product processing, road construction, and others.

From October 2016 to February 2019, he worked as the Project Manager for Business Digital Transformation at JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" - "Business Transformation Center".

In February 2019, M. Sultanbek took the position of Director of Project Portfolio Management for Business Transformation at JSC "Samruk-Kazyna", where he worked until September 2020.

From September 2020 to August 2024, he served as the Director of the branch of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" - "Multifunctional Service Center".

Since August 5, 2024, Madiyar Sultanbek has been the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and a member of the Management Board at JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST".
