Mr. Taminje studied at the Ghazi Lyceum in Antalya, Turkey, and also received his education at Munich University. Ludwig-Maximilian, Germany, where he studied economics and German literature. Then he studied at Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey and received a degree in economics. He is also awarded a bachelor's degree in economics from Knox College, Illinois, USA.
Mr. Taminje, already a university student, began his entrepreneurial activity. Today, his entrepreneurial activities and investments cover a wide range of industries, including tourism, hotel industry and investments, construction and development of real estate. Having shown his foresight in relation to the fast pace of the formation of countries, Mr. Taminje sent his activities to the countries of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, in particular to Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Dubai, Libya and others.
One of Mr. Tamince’s companies is Sembol Construction , founded in 2000. For a short time from the moment of foundation, the achievements of the Sembol company are: design and construction of luxury hotels: (in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Russia, Croatia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Switzerland and Georgia).
The Republic of Kazakhstan, having enormous potential in recent years, has become one of the most advanced countries in the World. The Turkish company Sembol Construction has helped shape the modern face of Kazakhstan with the construction of important facilities completed in record time. In addition to commissioning the Khan Shatyr shopping and entertainment center, Sembol Construction completed the construction of such facilities as the Astana Arena football stadium, the Palace of Peace and Concord, the Nur Alem pavilion sphere, and the Nurly railway station Zhol”, Congress Center, Palace of Independence, Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “National Military Academy”.
The "Palace of Peace and Concord" project in Astana has been widely recognized by international media. Hugh Peramns wrote in The Sunday Times on March 5, 2007: "The pyramid-shaped building designed by Lord Foster will be one of the wonders of the world."
Sembol Construction revised its business strategy, introducing itself as a leading player in the market, providing a diversified portfolio of construction services in various regions, mainly in Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Croatia and Turkey, acting as a developer and investor. Sembol completed the construction of the Khan Shatyr Shopping and Entertainment Center, a project developed by British architect Norman Foster in 2010. Sembol Construction has been recognized for attracting highly respected architects, designers and consultants such as Norman Foster, Brian Clark, Andrew Pfeiffer, Atkins, Civic arts, Grant Leisure, Buro Happold and Studio Dinnebier.
Rixos Hotels : Mr. Taminje opened and created the first Rixos Hotel, a prestigious chain of luxury hotels in Turkey at the turn of the millennium. Today, Rixos Hotels owns and operates more than 15 luxury hotels. The chain is a recognized world leader among luxury resort hotels.
Mr. Tamince is married, has four children.
