Mrs. Dinara Seijaparova is a Member of the Global Business and Sustainable Development Commission established at Davos World Economic Forum 2016. This Business Commission consists of 35 international leaders fr om business, government, financial institutions and civil society to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Commission identified SDGs as a 30–trillion USD opportunity. www.businesscommission.org
Mrs. Seijaparova obtained her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo-Alto, USA, in 2004. She obtained her Bachelors’ degree in Finance with Honors from the American University in Washington, DC. She attended the Strategic Management Course at Columbia University in New York, USA, and completed 3 year undergraduate study in Economics in Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey.
She started her professional experience at The World Bank Group in Washington, DC, USA, as Junior Professional Associate at Operations Evaluations Department, working on portfolios of Russia, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Bulgaria, and different Latin American and African countries. She also evaluated health, energy, financial and other sectors.
In 2005, she was invited to Kazakhstan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board Member of JSC National Company “KazMunaiTeniz” to work on financing Kashagan and other oil and gas projects. From 2013 through 2018 worked as CFO/Board Member of NMH “Baiterek”, wh ere she also supervised IT and Strategy departments. Fr om April 2018 served as CFO and Board Member of Almaty International Airport wh ere she arranged financing for a few projects jointly with UNDP.
