The planned investment in the plant is $500 million, with the creation of 1,000 jobs. The products will be manufactured using raw materials from local suppliers: 400,000 tons of corn and 500,000 tons of wheat annually. The project is strategically important for the region as it contributes to the development of the agro-industrial complex, the pharmaceutical industry, job creation, and the attraction of additional investments.
For reference:
Deep grain processing is one of the promising areas in the manufacturing industry, enabling the production of high value-added products. Kazakhstan harvests 16-17 million tons of grain annually, a third of which is exported. Grain can be processed into more than 260 types of products, opening new opportunities for the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex, import substitution, and further diversification of the economy.
