The Kazakhstan–Estonia Business Forum was held at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) with the participation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Alar Karis, President of the Republic of Estonia.

The event brought together representatives of government agencies, national companies, and the private sector from both countries. The forum became the largest platform for discussing economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Estonia, gathering over 90 representatives of Estonian businesses from the logistics, digitalization, innovation, industry, energy, and education sectors.

During the plenary and thematic sessions, the parties discussed opportunities for implementing joint projects in both Kazakhstan and Estonia, developing transport and logistics corridors, expanding trade and economic relations, and enhancing cooperation in digital technologies and the green economy.

From the Kazakh side, Gabidulla Ospankulov, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities. He emphasized that Kazakhstan remains the largest investment recipient in Central Asia, accounting for over 60% of total regional inflows, and that 67 companies with Estonian participation are successfully operating in the country.

“We see great potential to expand the partnership between Kazakhstan and Estonia — from logistics and transport services to digital solutions and innovation. Kazakhstan is open to Estonian business and ready to provide all necessary tools to implement projects,” said Gabidulla Ospankulov.
