COCA-COLA Plans to Launch a Plant for the Production of Soft Drinks in Shymkent
The director of the Kazakhstan branch of the Turkish company "Coca-Cola İçecek" Mustafa Beltekin arrived in Shymkent on a working visit, where he met with the mayor of the city Murat Aytenov and the deputy director of the Service Support Department of "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC - a representative for interaction with government agencies and the public Marat Yessenov and the regional representative of the national company Sagynzhan Syrymuly. During the meeting, the project for the construction of a plant for the production of soft drinks was discussed.
It is planned that the implementation of the project with a production capacity of 262 million liters per year will create more than 100 jobs. The plant will be built on the territory of the new Zhuldyz industrial zone.
At the meeting, Murat Aytenov spoke about the potential and opportunities of the third metropolis, noting that the city has all the conditions for opening a plant in this territory:
“I am sure that today's meeting will not only contribute to bilateral cooperation, but will also become a prerequisite for the implementation of a new investment project in Shymkent,” Akim of the metropolis said.
The project will be implemented with the support of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC.
