Issues in Agro-Industrial Complex Discussed at KAZAKH INVEST

A regular acceleration meeting was held at the AIFC site to identify systemic problems and barriers preventing the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event, organized by JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST," was attended by Nazira Nurbayeva, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerbol Taszhurekov, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of government agencies and business.

In their speech, N. Nurbayeva and Y. Taszhurekov noted that Kazakhstan's agro-industrial sector is a priority and has excellent investment potential.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and KAZAKH INVEST are working to attract projects in this sector. Therefore, improving current regulatory standards will contribute to the industry's modernization and the influx of new investments.

The event participants voiced and discussed several pressing issues, including the lack of required infrastructure and frequent changes in legislation regarding subsidies. The possibility of submitting the most pressing systemic problems for discussion at a meeting of the Investment Headquarters is being considered.

KAZAKH INVEST regularly holds meetings on project acceleration with industry representatives from the private and public sectors. The meetings aim to identify and eliminate barriers to implementing investment projects and improve the country's investment climate and business conditions. The practice creates a productive dialogue between government agencies and private businesses to identify the most effective solutions.
