China is Interested in the Implementation of new Projects in Kazakhstan
Chinese investors are considering the possibility of implementing a number of projects in Kazakhstan in the field of the food industry, mining and metallurgical complex. This was announced during a working meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC Zhandos Temirgali and the heads of the Chinese financial and industrial holding “CITIC”.
During the meeting, Vice President of CITIC Construction Yang Jianqiang announced the company's interest in investing in new projects in the agricultural and mining sectors. Especially, the interest was expressed in the fields of the production of meat products, deep processing of grains and oilseeds, as well as the development of deposits of vanadium and other non-ferrous metals.
As part of the negotiations, investors were presented with the investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan, opportunities and support mechanisms for business in our country. Specific investment projects and investment opportunities in the aforementioned sectors aroused the particular interest of Chinese businessmen.
“For many years, the state has been paying great attention to the development of the agro-industrial complex. The state is taking a set of measures aimed at improving the agro-industrial sector in order to develop it. Because of this, today some results are seen: an increase in gross agricultural production, the formation of new agricultural facilities in the republic and an increase in investment in the agricultural industry”, - said the project manager of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” Samat Almagambetov.
Also, during a meeting with Chinese investors, the project manager for the mining and smelting field of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” Dilyara Tektigulova mentioned the advantages of implementing investment projects in the mining and metallurgical industry, and she also presented specific investment proposals drawn up for the Chinese side.
