Kazakhstan took part in the IGC-37 in Busan

The foreign representative of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" Daulet Saktaganov, took part in the 37th International Geological Congress (IGC-37), held in Busan (South Korea).  On the margins of the largest forum, which gathered geological exploration companies from more than 120 countries, the exhibition "GEOEXPO-2024" was also held, where the latest achievements in the field of geological sciences were presented.

Thus, during the event, D. Saktaganov met with several exploration companies, during which he familiarized foreign entrepreneurs with investment opportunities in Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the IGC-37, Kazakhstan presented an extensive exposition demonstrating the latest achievements of Kazakhstani geologists. The exhibition included geological maps, monographs, collections of scientific papers, and other materials that reflected progress and successful practices in the field.

As a full member of the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) since 1992, Kazakhstan actively participates in the work of the Congress. In the past, Kazakhstan has participated in seven events, including Congress meetings in Kyoto (1992), Beijing (1996), Rio de Janeiro (2000), Florence (2004), Oslo (2008), Brisbane (2012) and Cape Town (2016). Kazakhstan's participation in the IGC-37 emphasizes the country's importance in the geological arena and aspiration to develop cooperation with international partners.
