KAZAKH INVEST and DataVolt Discuss Cooperation Prospects in Digital Technologies and Innovations
Azamat Kozhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" met with Tom Teerlynck, Chief Growth Officer of DataVolt. During the meeting, the prospects for cooperation in digital technologies and innovations, as well as investment opportunities in Kazakhstan, were discussed.
Special attention was given to the development of data centers and cloud services within the country. Azamat Kozhanov emphasized the importance of implementing advanced technologies to improve infrastructure and enhance business efficiency in Kazakhstan. He also highlighted that the government is keen to attract international partners for the realization of such projects.
"Kazakhstan is steadily implementing an ambitious digital transformation program, with artificial intelligence identified as the key driver of technological development in the economy. In the context of global digitalization, our country has unique conditions for establishing a regional AI hub in the Eurasian space. To achieve our digital ambitions, comprehensive development is required, which includes the construction of energy-efficient TIER III data centers, reliable storage systems for Big Data processing, and high-performance computing power," said Azamat Kozhanov.
Tom Teerlynck, in turn, expressed interest in implementing joint projects in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the strategic significance of the region for expanding DataVolt's opportunities in Central Asia. The company views Kazakhstan as a key point for expanding its operations in the region.
The parties agreed to continue discussions on potential projects and cooperation formats aimed at developing digital technologies and improving Kazakhstan's investment attractiveness.
