KAZAKH INVEST Discusses Green Energy and Infrastructure Projects with Pakistani Company Welt Konnect
Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC KAZAKH INVEST” Madiyar Sultanbek held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of Pakistani company Welt Konnect (Pvt) Ltd., Barrister Habil Ahmed Khan.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of green hydrogen, renewable energy, digitalization, and infrastructure projects. The company expressed interest in implementing large-scale infrastructure initiatives in Kazakhstan, developing renewable energy, tourism, real estate and construction, creating a digital bank, as well as participating in educational programs.
Madiyar Sultanbek emphasized that Kazakhstan is interested in attracting leading foreign companies to the non-resource sectors of the economy and is ready to provide support in the implementation of joint initiatives.
“Kazakhstan is consistently creating conditions for attracting high-quality investments in non-resource sectors of the economy. We are confident that cooperation with companies such as Welt Konnect will help implement new initiatives in green energy and infrastructure and strengthen economic ties between our countries,” he noted.
For his part, Barrister Habil Ahmed Khan stressed that Kazakhstan is viewed by the company as a priority partner in Central Asia. He noted that the country has significant potential in green energy and infrastructure, as well as favorable conditions for long-term investments.
