German Company Will Launch Assembly of Ultralight Aircraft in Almaty
A joint press conference of the German Flight Design GmbH and JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" was held at the 30th AERO Friedrichshafen General Aviation Exhibition in Friedrichshafen (Germany). Flight Design spoke about the company's plans to produce ultralight CT series aircraft in Kazakhstan.
During the exhibition, more than 700 companies from 38 countries presented the latest industry products in one of the most modern exhibition centers in the world, located in the airport of Friedrichshafen. The largest exhibition in Europe was visited by more than 35,000 people, 63% of whom have a pilot's license.
According to Flight Design CEO Daniel Guenther, the aircraft production project will be implemented with the Virage group of companies on the territory of the FEZ in Almaty. The parties will create a joint venture, Flight Design Kazakhstan, to do this. The aircraft will be sold in the local and foreign markets.
In turn, the official representative of KAZAKH INVEST in Germany, Saken Olzhabayev, provided the conference participants with information on investor rights protection tools, preferences, and other measures to support foreign companies in Kazakhstan. He also informed the participants about the advantages of the country's special economic zones and about successfully implementing Kazakh-German projects. At the end of his speech, the representative invited the participants to implement aviation projects in Kazakhstan.
