Chairman of the Board of KAZAKH INVEST at a Business Dialogue in Moscow
A business dialogue, "Kazakhstan—Vector of Opportunities," was held in Moscow with the participation of the Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST," Yerzhan Yelekeyev. Kazakh and Russian entrepreneurs, representatives of development institutions, and representatives of government agencies of the two countries gathered on the sidelines of the event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation.
Thus, within the framework of the business dialogue, the participants heard speeches by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Dauren Abayev, Co-Chairman of the Kazakh-Russian Business Council Timur Zharkenov, Minister of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission Bakhyt Sultanov, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Saparbekov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexey Gruzdev, etc. The speakers presented opportunities for cooperation and promising investment projects in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, chemical industry, agro-industrial complex, production of building materials, and tourism.
Speaking at the plenary session, Y. Yelekeyev informed the participants about the Republic of Kazakhstan's investment climate, the work of KAZAKH INVEST to attract investments and state support measures. The Chairman of the Management Board also noted potential areas for further expansion of Kazakh-Russian cooperation.
"Russia remains one of the largest investors in our country's economy. Last year was marked by a record result when the gross inflow of investments approached the $3 billion mark. Nevertheless, we see new prospects for deepening our cooperation in the mining and metallurgical complex, petrochemistry, and tourism. Joint projects contribute to the development of technology, opening new markets and creating jobs. In this regard, we invite you to explore the possibilities of developing your business in Kazakhstan," the Chairman of the Management Board stressed.
As part of the business dialogue program, Y. Yelekeyev moderated a panel session on "Investment and tourism potential of the regions of Kazakhstan."
The business dialogue has become an important platform for networking, productive exchange of experience, and discussion of promising projects between the two countries.
