Project description:
Creation of a production line with a capacity of 3 thousand electric motors per year on the territory of the existing plant. The successful implementation of the Project will create an effective integrated business for the production of electric motors, solve the tasks of providing the domestic market with high-quality competitive products, as well as create about 50 new jobs in Aktau.
Commercial products and capacities:
It is planned to reach full capacity in the 9th year from the moment of launch, after which production volumes will reach a plateau at the level of 3000 units per year. The list of the manufactured product range includes:
- Electricmotors-2 130 units / year;
- Traction electric motors – 870 units / year.
- Domestic market of Kazakhstan (55% of finished products);
- Exports to neighboring countries, including Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, etc. (45%).
Prerequisites for the Project implementation
Localization of production.
Basic materials and some components are available in Kazakhstan. Significant demand for electric motors from the oil and gas sector, extractive industries, enterprises in the field of transport engineering and energy is mainly covered by imports. Local production will reduce the final cost of electric motors, providing consumers with high-quality and timely warranty service.
Relevant industry experience and a well-formed customer base.
The Company's accumulated experience in the overhaul of electric motors of leading world manufacturers and other electrical equipment allowed the Company to form long-term relationships with key consumers. The offtake program used in practice to support domestic producers allows the Company to conclude guaranteed long-term orders with national companies, ensuring uninterrupted production.
