CLAAS is the flagship of the global agricultural machinery industry and the largest European manufacturer of agricultural machinery.
In September 2021, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the production of combines, seeding complexes, tractors and other agricultural equipment was launched by Claas KGaAmbH (Germany).
The new plant is located in the Bereke microdistrict on the territory of the Qyzyljar FEZ, Subzone No. 2.
The project was implemented jointly with the official representative of CLAAS in Kazakhstan, the ST-Agro company.
The volume of investments in the region's economy amounted to about 3 billion tenge. At the initial stage, it is planned to create about 100 new jobs. Upon reaching the design capacity, the enterprise will produce up to 300 units of agricultural machinery per year, which will qualitatively improve the situation with the renewal of the machine and tractor fleet in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
