Success Story - CLAAS

CLAAS is the flagship of the global agricultural machinery industry and the largest European manufacturer of agricultural machinery.

In September 2021, the production of combines, seeding complexes, tractors, and other agricultural equipment was launched by Claas KGaAmbH (Germany) with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The new plant is located in the Bereke microdistrict on the territory of the Qyzyljar FEZ, Subzone No. 2.

The project was implemented jointly with the official representative of CLAAS in Kazakhstan, the ST-Agro company.

The volume of investments in the region's economy amounted to about 3 billion tenge. At the initial stage, about 100 new jobs are planned to be created. Upon reaching the design capacity, the enterprise will produce up to 300 units of agricultural machinery per year, which will significantly improve the situation with the renewal of the machine and tractor fleet in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
