Kazakhstan’s investment opportunities to be presented in Switzerland in April
On February 28, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Invest, Marat Birimzhan, had a meeting in Astana with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Urs Schmid.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation, including the general economic interaction between the two countries and joint participation in investment events this year.
Investment opportunities of Kazakhstan are planned to be presented in Winterthur, Switzerland, this April. In addition, further bilateral cooperation will be discussed at a round table with the participation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Switzerland, Kazakh Invest and Swiss business representatives.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed further steps regarding assistance to Kazakh Invest in preparation for the upcoming visit of representatives of business circles and government agencies led by the Swiss Minister of Economy Mr. Schneider-Ammann to the Republic of Kazakhstan in July 2018
M.Birimzhan noted the importance of continuing investment cooperation between the two countries and attracting Swiss companies to implementation of investment projects in the priority economic sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
