KAZAKH INVEST Held a Seminar for Entrepreneurs of North Kazakhstan Region
JSC “NC KAZAKH INVEST,” together with the Akimat of North Kazakhstan Region, held a seminar to explain state support measures for investment and entrepreneurial activities.
The seminar was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Aksubayev, Deputy Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Zhusup Zhumagulov, as well as representatives of government agencies and development institutions involved in attracting investments. For the regional business community, social-entrepreneurial corporations, and local executive bodies, presentations were delivered by representatives of the Industrial Development Fund JSC, Entrepreneurship Development Fund “Damu” JSC, Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC, KazAgroFinance JSC, Export Credit Agency “KazakhExport” JSC, Trade Policy Development Center “QazTrade” JSC, QazIndustry JSC, and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken.”
During the event, Arman Aksubayev emphasized that Kazakhstan pays special attention to creating favorable conditions for business and supporting investors at all stages of project implementation:
“Such events make it possible to directly hear the requests of businesses, develop joint solutions, and showcase successful examples of projects implemented with state support. It is important for us that investors feel systemic support and understand that their projects will develop in a stable and predictable environment.”
The program also included visits to key production facilities in the region:
LLP “CT Assembly” — CLAAS agricultural machinery assembly plant in Petropavl. Investment volume — 6 billion KZT, capacity — 534 units per year. In 2023, 523 units were produced; in 2024 — 350. 75 jobs created.
LLP “Nord Panels” — deep wood processing plant, commissioned in October 2024. Investment volume — 8 billion KZT, capacity — 50,000 m³ of chipboard per year. 300 jobs created.
LLP “Beykerton” — long-term storage bakery products plant. Project implementation period: 2023–2027. Total investment — 37.3 billion KZT. Planned output — 12,670 tons per year and 380 jobs. Main markets: Kazakhstan and Russia. Construction and installation works are underway, equipment delivery expected in January 2026.
LLP “ECO GLADE” — plant for the production of Agaricus mushrooms and substrate, to be implemented in 2025. Investment volume — 11.3 billion KZT. Planned output — 1,200 tons of mushrooms and 5,200 tons of compost per year. 65 jobs will be created. Construction and installation works are underway, equipment from Poland and metal structures from Belarus have been delivered.
The seminar became an effective platform for open dialogue, where entrepreneurs discussed proposals and identified barriers hindering project implementation. Representatives of development institutions emphasized that all questions raised will be considered within the established competence, and decisions will be developed to further support businesses.
