Kazakhstan Interested in Establishing Cooperation with Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Equipment Manufacturers from China
In Beijing, China, a conference aimed at fostering investment cooperation with pharmaceutical, medical device, and equipment manufacturers took place, focusing on "Attracting Investments and Localizing Innovative Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Equipment in the Republic of Kazakhstan." The event was organized by SK-Pharmacy LLP, National Company "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China and SINOVAC company. The conference saw the participation of leaders and representatives from relevant associations, business organizations, and manufacturers from various regions of China.
During the event, speakers included representatives from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, SK-Pharmacy LLP, National Company "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC, National Holding "QazBioPharm" JSC, Silk Way Pharma LLP, among others.
In their opening remarks, Mr. Abu-Talip Aymakhanov, Advisor to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, and Ms. Erkhat Iskaliyev, Chairperson of the Board of SK-Pharmacy LLP, discussed the current state of trade and economic relations between the two countries and the significant potential for cooperation in the pharmaceutical and medical device sector.
Mr. Kuanysh Amantay, the Chief Representative of "KAZAKH INVEST" in China, presented the investment climate in Kazakhstan, measures to support foreign investors, and the potential for investment cooperation between companies from Kazakhstan and China, providing information on investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. In his closing remarks, he invited Chinese partners to jointly implement investment projects within the territory of Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, SK-Pharmacy LLP, National Holding "QazBioPharm" JSC, and Silk Way Pharma LLP made presentations on the potential for cooperation in the joint production of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and medical equipment.
Following the event, bilateral meetings were held between Kazakh and Chinese partners. Several Chinese companies expressed interest in exploring the possibility of manufacturing pharmaceuticals and medical equipment within Kazakhstan's territory.
