Fabrics, plastics and polymeric metals will be produced from kazakhstan wheat
Today in Beijing, during the meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council with the assistance of Kazakh Invest, an agreement was signed on the implementation of the project for the development of the cluster in Kazakhstan between KazAzot JSC, Cathay Industrial Biotech Ltd. and CITIC Construction Co. Ltd.
The project includes the unique technology for deep processing of grain with the subsequent release of innovative polyamide materials. In the future, they will be used for the production of artificial fabrics, plastics and polymer coatings. This technology in the world owns only the Chinese company Cathay Industrial Biotech, Ltd. Thanks to the signed agreement with the support of Kazakh Invest, the second plant is planned to be built in Kazakhstan.
Investments in the project are about USD 2.5 billion. This is fully export-oriented production, where 2.5 million tons of Kazakh grain are planned to be used annually.
Recall that today in Beijing, 40 economic documents were signed for the total of about USD 13 billion, 15 of them with the assistance of Kazakh Invest. According to these agreements, new high-tech production in the field of engineering, biotechnology, etc. is planned to be launched on the territory of Kazakhstan.
