Investors from the Czech Republic are interested in the project for the production of sorghum syrup in Kazakhstan
The Czech company AGRAS jointly with Kazakhstan partner have expressed interest in the implementation of the project of the syrup production fr om a sorghum plant in the South Kazakhstan region.
Sorghum syrup is an organic product, a natural and safe substitute for sugar and sugar syrup. This product can be used in the confectionery industry, alcohol production, and also implemented in retail trade.
"We arrived in Kazakhstan to learn more about the possibilities of production of sorghum in your country. Only a few in the Czech Republic know what sorghum is. Today we had our first meeting with the management of Kazakh Invest, wh ere we discussed the further stages of the project: in the near future we will carry out soil analysis in the South Kazakhstan region. After reviewing all parameters, we understand the prospects of this project for us. I can already say that the project has interested us", said the head of the Czech company AGRAS Antonin Stojan.
It is planned that annually about 3 thousand tons of sorghum syrup will be produced in Kazakhstan.
