Mrs. Laura Shashpan was born in 1978 in the Saratov region. In 2000 she graduated from the Saratov State Academy of Law, in 2014 she graduated from the Vilnius University with a master's degree in international law and the law of the European Union LLM.
She is expert practitioner in the field of law and corporate governance.
She is professional mediator.
She began her career as an assistant to the district prosecutor in the Russian Federation.
Shashpan L.A. has many years of practical experience in law enforcement, government agencies, financial institutions and higher education institutions.
In particular, in 2003-2006 she worked as an assistant to a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the chief expert of the Representation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In 2007 she worked as Advisor to the Chairman of the Committee on Judicial Administration under the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2007 to 2008, she was a chief inspector, head of the sector of the legislative process of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2008 to 2011, she worked as a Vice-Rector for Educational Work of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov.
Also has experience as a Corporate Secretary (from 2012 to 2014, Center for Military Strategic Research JSC, in 2020 - State Annuity Company Life Insurance Company JSC).
From 2014 to 2018, she held various positions at the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 2020, she is Executive Director of the National Academy of Corporate Governance NACG.
