Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visited the Mangystau Region
The Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gabidulla Ospankulov, visited the Mangystau region, where he presented the investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and the state support measures to local entrepreneurs. During the meeting, participants received detailed information about the wide range of benefits, preferences, and support mechanisms available to investors.
In his speech, G. Ospankulov highlighted the state support measures and the investment potential of the Mangystau region. The Chairman elaborated on new investor support mechanisms, including the "green corridor" system introduced in cooperation with the General Prosecutor's Office and the activities of the Investment Headquarters.
To effectively implement the country's investment policy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, JSC "NIT," and with the support of the Eurasian Development Bank, launched the National Digital Investment Platform. This platform serves as a "one-stop-shop" for interactions between investors, government authorities, and the quasi-public sector. Its main goal is to automate information exchange among all participants in the investment process.
Additionally, the Chairman held a meeting with the Akim (Governor) of the Mangystau region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, to discuss investment attraction and the implementation of new projects in the region. Both parties emphasized the importance of joint efforts to create favorable conditions for investors and identified promising areas for cooperation.
During his visit to the Mangystau region, G. Ospankulov also familiarized himself with the activities of the SEZ "Aktau Sea Port," the port "Kuryk," and visited the production facilities of local companies as well as the ongoing container hub construction project.
Following the visit, the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed confidence in the continued successful development of the Mangystau region as one of the key drivers of Kazakhstan's economic growth.
