Almaty region started at the investment marathon of the presentation of Kazakhstan regions to French partners
Taldykorgan - Paris, 15 April 2021 - As part of the invest marathon, the presentation of the regions of Kazakhstan to French partners with the support of "KAZAKH INVEST" NC" JSC held an online meeting between the Akimat of Almaty region and the companies presented in the largest business association "Medef".
The event was attended by the Deputy Akim of the Almaty region Serik Turdaliev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of France Jean Galiyev, Co-Chairman of the French-Kazakhstan Business Council Aidan Karibzhanov and Yves-Louis Darriccarere, as well as over 30 representatives of France's business circles, leading enterprises of the Almaty region and regional development center.
Presenting the advantages of the region, S.Turdaliyev noted the positive activities of such famous French companies working in the Almaty region, as Lactalis, Danone, Soufflet, Leroy Merlin, and also welcomed the construction of a project for the construction of a trade and logistics hub with Semmaris.
Noting the potential and prospects of cooperation, the French forum participants expressed interest in participating in projects for the development of medical infrastructure, animal husbandry, as well as greenhouses.
The co-chairman of the Kazakh-French business council of A. Karibzhanov emphasized the presence of transit-logistic potential, as well as the special attractiveness of the Almaty region to implement joint projects in the field of food industry and tourism.
In turn, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of France J. Galiev called on French partners to more active actions to find mutually beneficial partnerships and expressed the readiness of the Kazakh side to provide the necessary accompaniment and support.
During the meeting, the ceremony of signing a letter of intent to invest in a project for the production of cheeses from goat milk in Talgar city by the General Director of Kairos Advice AG Aigul Sainova, the head of Karlygash LLP Arman Assenov and French entrepreneur David Ammo.
Remember that since the beginning of the year, in a similar format, the presentations of the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent were held. The next meeting in the framework of the Invest Marathon is planned to devote the Zhambyl region.
