Market prerequisites:

Growth in the volumes of wholesale, retail trade and foreign trade turnover

The growth in the volumes of wholesale and retail trade in the West Kazakhstan Region in the period from 2017 to 2018 amounted to 16% and 2%, respectively. Taking into account the direct correlation between the increase in trade volumes and the increase in warehouse occupancy, an increase in demand is expected in the warehouse rental sector. In the period from 2016 to 2017, the foreign trade turnover of the West Kazakhstan region increased by 23% from 4443 million US dollars in 2016 to 5472 million US dollars in 2017.

Growing cargo turnover

The volume of cargo transportation in the West Kazakhstan Region during 2016-2018 is growing dynamically with an average annual rate of 10%.

Low competition in the field of transport and logistics in the West Kazakhstan region

Currently, there are no TLCs on the WKO market that provide a full range of high-quality services. Due to the significant financial costs for the construction of the shopping center and the lack of qualified personnel, competition for this type of services is not expected.

Favorable geographical location

The territory of the West Kazakhstan Region is located in a strategically advantageous oil and gas processing region. The region borders with the Russian Federation, is also located next to the Atyrau and Aktobe regions, which are the oil and gas centers of the country, and where the total population is more than 1.5 million people. The nearest four cities of the Russian Federation with a total population of more than 5 million people are located within a radius of 200 km.
