A delegation of the heads of Danish companies in the field of the agro-industrial complex arrived on a working visit to Kazakhstan. The delegation included the heads of such large companies as “Chr. Hansen”, “Breeders of Denmark”, “Cimbria”, “Danbred”, “Robco Engineering”, “Skiold Group”, “Skov”, “VikingGenetics FMBA” and others. During the visit, the delegates took part in joint round-tables, got acquainted with investment opportunities of Almaty and Akmola regions.

Thus, within the framework of the visit of Danish entrepreneurs to Nur-Sultan, “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC organized a round-table with the participation of business representatives from the two countries.

Danish companies shared their vision of the development of a modern agro-industrial complex in the field of poultry, livestock, grain and oilseed processing, as well as the transition to sustainable agriculture and the introduction of new breeding solutions using advanced digital technologies.

In turn, the Kazakh side presented the investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan, opportunities and support mechanisms for business in the country. Danish businessmen were especially interested in specific investment projects and investment opportunities in the agro-industrial complex.

“Over the years, the state has been paying great attention to the development of the agro-industrial complex. For the development of the sector, the state is taking a set of measures aimed at its improvement, for which today there is an increase in gross agricultural production, the formation of new agricultural facilities in the republic and an increase in investment in the agricultural sector," noted the manager of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC Samat Almagambetov and encouraged the business community of Danish companies for mutually beneficial cooperation and the creation of joint ventures in Kazakhstan.

In addition, with the support of KAZAKH INVEST, a Danish agro-industrial delegation, accompanied by the regional director Yernur Zholumbetov, visited the Akmola region, where meetings with the representatives of the regional business community were held to discuss the details of the implementation of new potential projects. In particular, the delegates visited the diversified agricultural firm “Rodina”, the Makinsk poultry farm, the meat processing plant “MPC Bizhan”, “KazBeef Processing”.

Currently, the Danish delegation is on a visit to the Almaty region in order to get acquainted with the productions of the region, as well as participate in a joint round table with representatives of the Akimat of the Almaty region, the Regional Development Center of the Almaty region and representatives of the business community. The delegation is accompanied by the Regional Director for Almaty region Dariya Ovsyannikova.

Within the framework of the round-table, the investment potential of the region in the field of agriculture, the development of industrial zones and the transport and logistics potential of the border zone of the SEZ “Khorgos-Eastern Gate” were presented. In addition, a number of B2B meetings were organized with already working local Kazakh entrepreneurs, as well as planning to implement projects in the agro-industrial sector.

It is worth noting that within the framework of the visit of delegates to the Almaty region, it is also planned to visit such enterprises as “Kaz Feed Agro”, “LAKE FARM”, Agro-industrial company “Adal” JSC, PF “Aidarbayev” and other.
