KAZAKH INVEST and the Investment Committee discussed cooperation with Honeywell UOP
The discussion focused on the modernization of Kazakhstan's oil refineries and the implementation of modern solutions in the field of industrial automation.
Astana – KAZAKH INVEST, together with the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a meeting with representatives of Honeywell UOP, one of the world leaders in oil refining, petrochemical, and industrial process automation technologies.
The meeting was attended by Gabidulla Ospanculov, Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Asel Suankulova, Director of the Investment Attraction and Marketing Department of KAZAKH INVEST.
The parties discussed the prospects for modernizing three oil refineries in Kazakhstan, as well as opportunities for the company to participate in new industrial projects.
Particular attention was paid to Process Automation Solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of production processes, optimizing energy consumption, and enhancing industrial safety.
Honeywell has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1998. The company currently has offices in Astana, Almaty, Atyrau, and Aksai.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further developing cooperation, including the modernization of oil refining infrastructure and the introduction of modern technological solutions in new industrial projects in Kazakhstan.
