Today in the FEZ “Astana – new city” took place a reporting meeting of the management board of the plant “Selena Insulations”, located on the territory of the aforementioned FEZ, with Vice-Minister of Development of Poland Jadwiga Emilewicz who arrived in Kazakhstan on a working visit. Also, representatives of Polish companies – producers of furniture, interested in investment cooperation with Kazakhstan in the capital region, participated in the meeting. The Polish delegation was welcomed by Khanat Isabekov, deputy director of the investment administration of Astana, while a presentation on investment opportunities of Astana in front of those gathered  was conducted by Abay Kozhmamzharov, director of the Investors Service Centre in LLP ”ГЦРИ” Astana Invest”

The plant producing dry specialized construction mixtures ''Selena Insulations'' is a part of the holding Selena Group, an international Polish holding specializing in production and distribution of construction chemicals. Production capacity of the plant operating in Kazakhstan, built according to a modern project, is 120 000 t of dry construction mixtures per year and 10 000 t of dispersion mixtures per year with an eventual expansion up to180 000 t per year. The project value is estimated at more than 6 mln. $. Thanks to the object launched 50 new workplaces for engineering and technical workers, financial specialists, lawyers, technologists were created. The products are planned to be exported to the markets of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia.

 According to the representative of Selena Group Jerzy Polanowski:

This year our company marks a dual anniversary: 25 years from the day of its establishment and 15 years of our work in Kazakhstan. There are 2 production lines in production of dry construction mixtures functioning at the plant, which satisfy up to 20 per cent of internal market demands. In the near future we plan to expand the export of our products to the countries of Central Asia and Russia. Success of our company, high-level productivity indicators and realization of our products on the Kazakhstan markets prove the existence of beneficial investment climate and good conditions, created by the state for foreign companies, interested in direct investments in Kazakhstan.

National company ''Kazakh invest'' together with the akimat of Astana extends huge support to the enterprise with the goal of its further expansion. Aidan Ramazan, regional deputy director of ''KAZAKH INVEST'' in the region Astana stated:

This project has reinvestment potential: expansion of production space from 100 up to 180 000 cubic meters. And particularly, we want to point out the economic effect of the project on the region: production of high quality goods, which enjoys an internal demand in Kazakhstan with the use of new technologies and the creation of new worklaces for local workers.
