Polymetal Implements Project in Kazakhstan
With the support of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST", work continues on the implementation of the project "Ertis Hydrometallurgical Plant" by the international gold mining company Polymetal in the territory of the SEZ "Pavlodar". The investment volume of this unique project for Kazakhstan will exceed 343 billion tenge. The construction of the new enterprise will create approximately 500 permanent jobs in the region.
Ertis Hydrometallurgical Plant is a promising project, within which the construction of a universal complex for processing gold-bearing concentrates using autoclave oxidation is planned - the most environmentally friendly technology for processing such raw materials.
During the implementation of the project, an issue arose regarding the arrangement of the land plot. KAZAKH INVEST brought this issue to the attention of the Investment Headquarter, supervised by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar. As a result of the consideration of the issue by the Investment Headquarter, a positive decision was made and corresponding instructions were given to the state authorities.

The main tasks of the Investment Headquarter include removing barriers and accelerating the implementation of investment projects. Every two weeks, the heads of central and local executive bodies, as well as representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office and KAZAKH INVEST, discuss problematic issues of investors, finding optimal ways to solve them.
